From 2def48394f6d48bde0dec2b514193c2b533265b5 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Douglas Gregor <dgregor@apple.com> Date: Mon, 17 Nov 2008 20:34:05 +0000 Subject: [PATCH] Updated IdentifierResolver to deal with DeclarationNames. The names of C++ constructors, destructors, and conversion functions now have a FETokenInfo field that IdentifierResolver can access, so that these special names are handled just like ordinary identifiers. A few other Sema routines now use DeclarationNames instead of IdentifierInfo*'s. To validate this design, this code also implements parsing and semantic analysis for id-expressions that name conversion functions, e.g., return operator bool(); The new parser action ActOnConversionFunctionExpr takes the result of parsing "operator type-id" and turning it into an expression, using the IdentifierResolver with the DeclarationName of the conversion function. ActOnDeclarator pushes those conversion function names into scope so that the IdentifierResolver can find them, of course. git-svn-id: https://llvm.org/svn/llvm-project/cfe/trunk@59462 91177308-0d34-0410-b5e6-96231b3b80d8 --- docs/InternalsManual.html | 2 +- include/clang/AST/DeclBase.h | 1 + include/clang/AST/DeclarationName.h | 20 ++++++++++ include/clang/Basic/DiagnosticKinds.def | 5 ++- include/clang/Parse/Action.h | 19 +++++++-- lib/AST/DeclarationName.cpp | 39 +++++++++++++++++++ lib/Parse/MinimalAction.cpp | 2 +- lib/Parse/ParseExprCXX.cpp | 14 ++++--- lib/Sema/IdentifierResolver.cpp | 51 ++++++++++++------------- lib/Sema/IdentifierResolver.h | 27 ++++++------- lib/Sema/Sema.h | 11 ++++-- lib/Sema/SemaCXXScopeSpec.cpp | 11 +++--- lib/Sema/SemaChecking.cpp | 7 +++- lib/Sema/SemaDecl.cpp | 26 +++++++------ lib/Sema/SemaExprCXX.cpp | 50 ++++++++++++++++++++++++ test/SemaCXX/conversion-function.cpp | 8 ++++ 16 files changed, 223 insertions(+), 70 deletions(-) diff --git a/docs/InternalsManual.html b/docs/InternalsManual.html index adfa7c3e748..d9c2701f6e1 100644 --- a/docs/InternalsManual.html +++ b/docs/InternalsManual.html @@ -468,7 +468,7 @@ malloc'd objects are at least 8 byte aligned.

Given a
DeclarationName

N
,
N.getNameKind()
- will produce a valid that describes what kind of name
N
+ will produce a value that describes what kind of name
N
stores.
